At Get Fit Methods, we help busy adults—especially those 40 and up—build strength, lose fat, and feel great using a smarter, more efficient approach to fitness. Our motto is simple:
Less is more to get fit fast.

No long workouts. No extreme diets. Just a powerful 3-part system:

  1. Train Smarter – 30-minute workouts, just twice a week, using our Time Under Load (TUL) method to maximize strength and results without burnout.
     
  2. Eat Simpler – Our color-based nutrition system makes healthy eating easy—just focus on 3–5 colors per meal, no calorie counting required.
     
  3. Live Better – More energy, less stress, and a lifestyle that supports your goals—not controls your schedule.
     

We specialize in small group (2:1) personal training at our studio in Evanston, Illinois, where you get personalized support, measurable results, and a community that keeps you accountable.

Our Story

 

At Get Fit Methods, our story began with a simple belief: fitness shouldn’t feel like a full-time job.

Founder Dietrich Horsey, a veteran coach and fitness expert, saw too many people burning out on complicated programs and endless workouts. So he created a better way—one that delivers real results with less time, less stress, and more purpose.

We developed a science-backed system that works for real people with real responsibilities.
It’s built around 3 core pillars:

  1. Train Smarter – 30-minute, twice-weekly strength sessions using Time Under Load.
     
  2. Eat Simpler – A no-stress, color-based nutrition system that works on the go.
     
  3. Live Better – A method that improves your energy, strength, and confidence—without taking over your life.
     

Today, from our Evanston, IL studio, we help busy adults—especially 40+—build lean muscle, burn fat, and transform their health. No fluff. No guilt. Just results that last.
